Lecture 2

Description:

We will begin with a short presentation by Dr. Wendi Adamek about some of the traditional forms of Buddhist practice (including contemplation, ritual, prayers, and good works). Dr. Adamek will also introduce the notion of “Buddhist Modernism.” We will then organize into small break-out discussion groups on the topic, and come together at the end to share what came up in our groups. We will finish with a period of meditation.
